In April 2025 British PrintCo partnered with Preseli on the first of its kind Closed Loop Lanyard Recycling scheme to further improve industry sustainability practices.

Closed Loop Lanyard Recycling

All reprocessing is UK-based — cutting transport emissions and boosting local sustainability. Re-used components are thoroughly cleaned (e.g. UV or ultrasonic chemical free methods) and checked — metal trigger clips can last years. You decide - it’s an optional, no-cost eco-upgrade you can promote to clients. Available for all British PrintCo / Preseli rPET ribbon products.

Over recent years, we have tried to be as sustainable as possible in terms of offering environmentally-responsible options such as Recycled PET as well as other options such as Bamboo, Plant Silk and Cotton materials. We were also the first to offer Paper lanyards to the UK promotional market. That said, we’ve always been conscious that a lot of lanyards, particularly those produced for exhibitions, would end up in landfill. Our closed-loop lanyard recycling scheme, which we are proud to promote in conjunction with British PrintCo, enables us to offer the promotional and exhibition industries a truly sustainable solution to that issue!”
