Step Repeat Artwork

Step Repeat Artwork

Step Repeat Artwork

This is our most popular and cost-effective lanyard layout. The logo or design is printed in a repeating sequence (a "step and repeat" pattern) along the length of the ribbon, appearing multiple times across both sides of the lanyard. It includes a single safety break and trigger clip as standard. Please note: because the ribbon is cut and sewn during production, the precise positioning of logos may vary slightly from one lanyard to another, and logos may sometimes be sewn through or partially cut at joins.

Fixed Position Artwork

Fixed Position Artwork

Fixed Position Artwork

Fixed position artwork ensures your design appears exactly where you want it — usually centred on the front-facing side of the lanyard. To achieve this, the ribbon is hand-cut and printed in two separate sections before being stitched together. This prevents the artwork from being accidentally cut off or sewn through at key points like the safety break or attachment loop. Please note: only the front side of the lanyard can have fixed positioning. The reverse will typically feature a step-repeat design, a solid colour, or be left blank.

Vertical Artwork

Vertical Artwork

Vertical Artwork

When a logo or design is intended to appear vertically along the lanyard, special care is needed to ensure it reads correctly on both sides of the neck. Because lanyards loop around the neck, artwork printed in a continuous run (like standard horizontal designs) will end up upside down on one side. To prevent this, we split the artwork into two mirrored sections — one for the left strap and one for the right. Each side is then printed separately and sewn together. This ensures the vertical design appears right-side up on both sides, creating a clean, professional finish that reads correctly from every angle.

Different Front and Back Artwork

Different Front and Back Artwork

Similar to a standard step repeat artwork: the logo or design is printed in a repeating sequence (a "step and repeat" pattern) along the length of the ribbon, appearing multiple times across both sides of the lanyard. However, in this variant a different artwork is used for the front vs the back. It includes a single safety break and trigger clip as standard. Please note: because the ribbon is cut and sewn during production, the precise positioning of logos may vary slightly from one lanyard to another, and logos may sometimes be sewn through or partially cut at joins.

Double-ended lanyards feature two attachment points instead of one, attaching to both sides of an ID card holder or pass. This not only keeps the holder facing forward, but also stops it from twisting or flipping.

Another variation is to print different designs on the left and right sides of the lanyard. This could involve changing the logo, colour, or both. Once stitched together, the final lanyard showcases a contrasting design on each side, creating a bold and distinctive look.
